Sit Up, Speak, Roll Over!
It seems that lying on his back is no longer good enough for Logan. All of a sudden, he's trying to roll over. First, he started rocking back and forth and spinning himself around in a clockwise direction, so you'd wake up in the morning, and his head would be at the north end of the crib instead of the south end. I predicted that in 10 days he would roll over. Well...
As I was editing the picture to put this post up he was on his play mat on the floor behind me and he ROLLED OVER. No kidding. After all of these times I've sat and stared, just KNOWING it was about to happen.
I missed it, becasue I was trying to write about it.
Stupid internet.
He can hold his head up better now, and he coos and goos a lot, so we're still working on sit up and speak.

Do the Math
Let's see... 6 months, that's about 24 weeks. Logan is 11 weeks old tomorrow. So 24-11, divided by that shirt fitting onto him pretty well = Damn this kid is getting big! Although he's getting a little help from the couch here, his neck has started to make a few appearances, too. Below you can see him doing some training on the old neck muscles.
I don't know if there is an international standard, but I've decided after next week I will speak of his age in months instead of weeks.

Fab Five Logan
Look at all that baby - it's like they almost can't get him onto the scale or something...
At 10 weeks Logan is now 14lbs 10 oz, and 24.75" long. Logan's checkup went well. He got shot full of all kinds of bacteria and whatnot, and even ate a little bit of virus - five different things, at the doctor's office they call it the "fab five."
He has a steely resolve though, and has held up really well.

Sunday Afternoon
There are a few things you can count on with Logan. For instance, I can tell you that on Sunday afternoon he's going to be hanging out in the shade at Winnemac park, taking in a soccer match.
It might be more to the point to say he's hanging out taking in attention from any number of people. He really seems to enjoy being outside, though. It got a little bright for him today, so much so that at one point he had to borrow Shelly's sunglasses.
