Busy Busy

Logan made his first trip to Margie's today. Margie's has been around since the beginning of recorded time, and they hand make their ice cream and serve it to you in clam shell dish that looks straight out of the Birth of Venus. It is OLD SCHOOL. We decided on banana "ice."
If only every table of every restaurant could have a jukebox.

Most days Lo gets chased around the park ( and down the sidewalk) by his old man...



And here's something from the top of Lo's favorite pastime list. His Mom gave him a boost so he wouldn't have to wear himself out with all the reaching.

Baby Talk

Just thought I might share a few of Logan's new words this week...

• bubble
• doo doo
• butt, or is it but?
• doo doo butt (oh, it's definitely butt - thanks dada)
• dammit (oops!)
• night night (aka goodnight, which he says to the pictures of the entire family every night as part of his bedtime routine)
• pee (as in "logan you peed all over the floor!")
• and my favorite, uh oh

Seriously, we just can't say anything out loud anymore...

Baby Partay

We hosted a baby party this weekend and Logan got to play with a bunch of kiddos around the same age as him. At first, he didn't know what to do and he went and played in the other room where the adults were. Eventually, he opened up and joined in on the fun.

a toast

lo revealed today that he is perfectly happy to sit and eat his own piece of toast (as opposed to picking up bits of toast that have been torn apart for him)
he has also figured out holding hands and walking down the sidewalk (instead of just wandering all over the place.)

Happy Independence Day

Logan got a haircut to celebrate the holiday and to look extra cool in his new shirt from cousin Ella. I know, it doesn't appear to look any different, his head just looks less pouffy, but trust me, it is because the collar on the shirt is so big (hee).

bosses of swing

i took the boys to the park this week and it was very exciting. i was exhausted too, as these guys are very demanding. push me! push me! push me! my turn! higher! faster!

so grown up

martin and i have been home all week and logan is loving it...

He has also expanding his vocabulary, some of his new words include:
outside
shoes
frog
fan
apple, which he refers to his bottles as (no idea where that came from)
ipod (seriously, not kidding)
and of course, mine, which i am not sure if he knows what it means, but he says it a lot...
