happy 1 month birthday!

i just finally got the baby to fall asleep. he has been up most of the night and following morning and martin and i are beginning to look a little rough around the edges. i feel sorry for the little guy, it appears that he has to go number 2 and is having a difficult time with it. hopefully soon, he will learn how to clear out his pipes more easily...

on a happier note, today is logan's first month birthday!!! martin and i stare at him and still can't believe that we made such a beautiful baby boy. for many of you, this picture may look familiar. isn't he just a doll!

Happy 1 month Logan,
Hope you have a wonderful day! Arlene, when Paloma and Ulises had that problem as babies, (poopy) I used to soak a table spoon of natural oatmeal in hot water (boiled water) (2 ounces) for 10 min. strain it add another ounce of boiled water and then used the liquid (1 ounce) and add it to their milk or give it by itself with a pinch of sugar (warm not hot)... It works wonders. Also excercise their legs in bicycle motion...(that was Kenneth's favorite part). Prune juice is also great...1 ounce of gerber prune juice diluted in 2 ounces of boiled water, strain it get 1 ounce of this with another ounce of boiled water and give it to him at room temp. These are all remedies for when babies are constipated, if diarreah instead of oatmeal use white rice (the rice 1/2 cup must be boiled with 2 cups of water for 10 mins use liquid ( 1 ounce, mix with milk or by itself), and instead of prune juice use baby apple juice. Those are my mother's, aunts, grandmother's home remedies...my pediatrician in Mexico also recommended that, but here it is another story, pediatricians do not believe in these remedies, but it helped the babies when they were miserable. Hope he feels better, when excercising in bicyle motion it is a must to sing Queen's 'BICYCLE" song....have fun.
Love,
Magui
