Observation
We got to come to Logans school and observe class for an hour this week. We were excited and pretty impressed that after siting in a circle for a while twenty five 3,4 and 5 year old's responded so promptly and positively when asked to go and "do their work" and thus all happily and independently went off in 25 directions and did just that
Here is Lo with his teacher Ms Andrade and some classmates

Autumn
We weren't able to make it to that most uber-midwestern activity of picking apples this year but we got out to he pumpkin patch today foe some hijinx
Mornings with Logan
Logan is crazy about his little sister. He insists on watching when I "milk" her, ie breastfeed, and each morning, he gives her a kiss and hug. This is a picture of him hugging her.

Coming home from the hospital
We stayed one night and were ready to head home.
Winona took to feeding like a champ and Logan was excited to have his sister home.

long time no see
it's not that we have no documentation of the boy, we just alternate between busy pregnant and tired around here.
here's a flurry of recent photos...
at playground after school
(dad tries to always imagine this look on my face, whether i'm screaming or not)
getting a drink old school out at the bike trails with dad
full on elmo outfit roasting marshmallows on the back deck
planning and design
the "king on his throne" in palmer square
apparently, dad is just a knight
lunar landing
on new spidery stuff at holstein park
in the kayak outside moosejaw
shoveling dirt with dad
writing my name on everything - at least the first 2 letters of it
(turn head 90 degrees closkwise, please)
on way to nature museum
